Duchess Meghan is ready to get to work.

The newlywed royal is now a patron of four organizations, Kensington Palace revealed in a press release issued to USA TODAY Thursday. Two patronages have been handed over to the former actress from Queen Elizabeth II, who served a patron to the associations for decades – The National Theatre and The Association of Commonwealth Universities.

Meghan will also be a patron of Mayhew and Smart Works. She visited the later on Thursday.

Meghan has had private visits with the organizations throughout the last year, per the  press release. In addition to Thursday's stop at Smart Works, Meghan will also call on the other orgs in the coming weeks.

For Thursday's visit to Smart Works, an organization that assists in clothing and coaching women searching for jobs, the expecting mom stayed toasty in a cotton-twill Oscar de la Renta coat, fashion blog Meghan's Mirror pointed out, with pleats that gave the outerwear spectacular movement. The coat was worn over a black Hatch dress with stretch, according to the blog and paired with Gianvito Rossi heels, featuring a cow print.

Meghan was captured breaking down the impact of Smart Works in a video shared to Twitter by The Sun's Emily Andrews

"When you do an edit, or sort of decide what you're going to send over to Smart Works, it's not just hand-me-downs, it's saying, 'OK, this is the blazer that I wore that helped me land that interview, and I want this to be the piece that helps this woman have that part of her story,' " Meghan said. "So to know, as a woman coming in, I would imagine, (knowing) that you have so many others believing in you, on all the next phases, is the piece that makes it so special."

Meghan also helped a woman named Patsy Wardally, choose an ensemble, and assisted in interview coaching.
