Since Nipsey Hussle’s untimely passing, fans all over have been playing his music to remember and honor him.

Not only did his music sales surge, but @Billboard is reporting that his grammy-nominated album, Victory Lap, has re-entered their Billboard 200 chart at No. 2.

According to Billboard, The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. Units are comprised of traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).

“Victory Lap” leaped over Ariana Grande’s “Thank U, Next” and also pushed down #JuiceWRLD’s “Death Race For Love” to No. 5.

As we previously reported, Nipsey’s music sales have reportedly increased 2,776 percent, according to Billboard.

Before his passing, Nipsey secured masters to all of his music, making this increase in sales extremely beneficial to his family.

On Sunday, Nipsey’s songs and albums reportedly sold a combined 15,000 copies–a large increase compared to the 1,000 copies reported on Saturday. On their own, Nipsey’s songs collected 13,000 downloads and his albums sold nearly 2,000 copies.

His best-selling song on Sunday was his recently released single “Racks in the Middle,” featuring Roddy Rich and Hit-Boy.

The single reportedly racked up nearly 3,000 downloads overnight.

Celebrities and fans have taken to social media to mourn Nipsey’s tragic passing.

Nipsey was an artist, a businessman, a father, and an inspiration to many all across the country. He aimed to help his community in Los Angeles, as well as the black community.

Eric Holder, The man police say gunned down Nipsey, is currently being held on a $7.5 Million bond. Holder is being represented by attorney Christopher Darden, who was on the prosecution team in OJ Simpson’s trial.

Let’s continue to keep Nipsey and his loved ones in our thoughts and prayers. He will be laid to rest this Thursday at the Staples Center.
